Pink Panther

Well here he is the Pink Panther the rinky dink panther (rinky dink not a word you hear every day).

Not even the best attempts of Beyonce Knowles and Steve Martin in 2006 could destroy the pink guys popularity, although he would rather you didn’t mention it as it is still understandably very embarrassing for him.

Pink Panther’s meteoric rise to fame came about in 1964 when he was selected to feature in the opening credits of the pink panther movies. Despite the movies title, the pink panther in question was actually a rare pink diamond stolen and being sought by the bumbling inspector Closeau. Pink Panther was so popular with movie goers that it wasn’t long before he had his own tv show and comic books etc.
