mine are towards the end  they are the three signposts and credited to Lisa Schofield Rockford Illinois.  It was fun taking them and really rewarding seeing them on the site. I’m bustin’ with pride.

yaaaaaaay, I sure hope so. Although so far I’ve thought that twice already this year only to have my hopes dashed by snowstorms and rain.

But today was glorious so I went for a very long walkie joggy thing and took my camera. Why the camera? well I wanted to take pics of boring stuff for theomegahappening.com. Even if they don’t like my pics I had such fun taking pics of inane, boring stuff. People in the park were looking at me like I had gone round the loop, as I took pics of the underside of a picnic bench and the electricity pylon shot was raising lots of eyebrows.

But I don’t care, after 7 months of cold miserable weather I am so happy to see the sun I do feel a little loopy.

And the good news is I am finally going to get a haircut……..thank god as I am starting to look like Bella my crazy cat lady.

I am going to donate my hair to locks of love though it’s long enough to do some good.

The Intuit outsider art gallery was even better than I thought it would be,  really nice gallery space and really fantastic artwork featured.  They had these really cool fruits that had been carved out and dried,  hard to explain but really effective.  I also talked to the people in the store in the hope they would be interested in selling my work.  That would be utterly fantastic,  I was thinking last night how if I knew what the exhibit theme was going to be I could make needle felt specific for it.  Right now in the main gallery for example is alien paintings and I could make little black and white aliens…………or not.  I guess I like doing my own thing too.

I know I’ve been in Illinois for almost a year now but I only found out about this place really recently. I found out about it at the Winter Delights Stitching Salon in Chicago which I highly recommend to anyone who is in the Chicago area. And I really can’t wait to check it out. I love outsider art and I find it fascinating to see what other people have going on in their heads.

Well here I am trying to work out all the goodies on my super fantastic website and I am not to sure of how I am doing. I currently have a little ginger stabbie looking at me begging for some legs, but I really want to get to my stuffies and the website needs work………..hmmmm what to do first?????

I am seriously considering doing a few craft fairs this summer, I have always loved craft fairs and the thought of being a part of one is very exciting. Illinois seems to have a ton of them to so I had better get cracking at enrolling and making stuff.
